Mandate:
Deploying a new VO on a site should ideally take a few seconds. This takes
in fact much more time. The goal of this WG will be to analyse and determine
the actual weaknesses of the middleware VO deployment and management
process, and make suggestions about potential solutions.
Deployment on large sites will be specially targeted in order to determine
technical difficulties, but small and medium sized sites will also be
contacted to help determine difficulties that would not arise in large
sites*.
This group shall remain a small group, counting about 4 or 5 people from
large/small/medium sites
*: large sites probably have more manpower dedicated to managing the
infrastructure than small sites for instance
